Redrops.com
This page replaces the Full site of Redrops.com . I did this due to $0 being donated and the up keep it took from me to fill in the daily lists. So I will explain "How To" get the lists for the 5am and 10am drops times as what was listed on Redrops.com .
5am Central Standard Time
Tip #1 SnapNames.com is one of the biggest daily tasters! They run "Public Auctions" daily. These domains they catch from the Pending Delete domain lists, they run on their site for various prices that start at $9-99. For domains that end today in auction and if they did not get a bid, they will drop the following day! Daily, SnapNames drops about 30K domain names. These drop at 5am Central Time.
If a domain that is in the Lists explained does not match the DNS like that just before the drop and shows ns1.interimnameserver.com or anything else, then it was purchased at auction and paid for. There are times that domains do get bids and are not paid for at drop time, so the DNS will not change and will not drop as well. With these two tips, you should be able to get a better judge on what will or will not drop.
TUESDAY.DNS1.OREGONNAMES.com Drop Day = Saturday 5AM Central Time
WEDNESDAY.DNS1.OREGONNAMES.com Drop Day = Sunday 5AM Central Time
THURSDAY.DNS1.OREGONNAMES.com Drop Day = Monday 5AM Central Time
FRIDAY.DNS1.OREGONNAMES.com Drop Day = Tuesday 5AM Central Time
SATURDAY.DNS1.OREGONNAMES.com Drop Day = Wednesday 5AM Central Time
SUNDAY.DNS1.OREGONNAMES.com Drop Day = Thursday 5AM Central Time
So in order to get the full list of domains, Click Here. Once there, go to the section that says In Auction Lists. There are 5 sections, with-in it. You will want to download the list Per Day (3 total) which states (Domain names in auction scheduled to end Date Here). The date is Key, because the domain will drop, the morning after that date at 5am! The reason you will want to do this by each date, is because of the Size of the lists. There can be as many as 50K + domains in one list. This would create a couple problem if you use excel, because excel only holds approx 63K to name one. You can also use this method if you wish to bid on a domain that is in auction.
How to download the list.
1.) Once you have click the link above and arrive at SnapNames, select the date you wish in the In Auction Lists section and click the link.
2.) A pop-up window will come up. Click Save. I always save to my desktop, which makes it easy to find the list. If you have to Extract the list, do this and again, extrat it to your desktop.
3.) Go to the saved TXT file on your desktop and Open it. Use a program like Wordpad. Once opened, ERASE the text line: Important, final orders blah blah at the very top and resave that list. (if you do not remove that text, it will cut off the domains in the list.)
4.) To save that file after removing the top text line Go to File, then Save. Then close the window.
5.) Open up your Excel program. Then go to File, then Open. Select Desktop and make sure you select All Files (look in) and select the SnapNames file.
6.) You will now see a Text Import Wizards window, with 3 steps. Step 1, just click Next as long as it the text wizard has the Fixed Width marked. Step 2, Just click Finish.
7.) You will now have the whole list in your excel format. I always select (highlight) the "wording" in the top 3 rows, then right click, Delete and then select Entire Row. This will now leave you with 4 rows. The first being the domains, which you want.
8.) Right click on the letter A and select Copy. You can now to go LazyMate.com and Paste the list into the database box and search this list how you would like, or you can also use the DRT software as well. In DRT, go to Options, add domains. Right click and Paste into box and hit Add. Then scan the list to get metrics if you wish and so on.
11am Central Standard Time
The 11am drop time is really Pool.com domains that are in their Public Auctions. Once you download the lists, the domains drop on the Day Listed at about 11-11:30 am Central Time. (New Time, which seems closer to 11:15 CT now.)
You will first have to Click Here to get to the download page, to download the list of domain names.
1.) After clicking the Download All link when getting to Pool.com from the above links. You will have to click Save. It is always best to save the list to your Desktop so it is easy to find. After selecting Desktop, click Save.
2.) Now click OPEN. You will have to Unzip the file. If you use Winzip, your winzip file should open. Just click on the list to highlight it and Extract it to your desktop. After doing this, click Close on the remaining window.
3.) You will now want to open your Excel Program. Once opened, go to File, then Open and find the file you just downloaded from pool and click Open.
4.) You should now have the Text Import Wizard box open in Excel. For step 1, you will just click Next. Step 2, you will have to put a checkmark in the COMMA box in the delimiters section. You will now see the list split in 3 sections. You can now just click Finish.
5.) Double Click the little lines between the letters A/B/C. This will spread the colums out to max width of the text in the field. Section A will show the domains, section B will show a date and time and section C will show Auc.
6.) Click on Section C (the letter itself) this will hightlight that section only. Once highlighted, go to the top of the screen and click the little ZA with an down arrow. You will then get a pop-up window. Select Sort.
7.) You should now see in Section C, rows that say DUTCH. The domains that are listed as Dutch are the domains that are in auction at pool.com and if they do not get a bid, drop the Date in the excel sheet. The time they start to drop is 10am Central Standard Time. I always sorted each list by Date. You can do this by clicking on the domain for a starting date, hold down the left button on your mouse and drag down until you see the date change. Then right click on the highlighted section and copy.
You can do many things with this list you now have. You can use your DRT tool if you have it and further sort the list or get metrics for the domains. You can also use LazyMate.com and search the list as well. Happy Hunting!
